Maria Juranic is a Writer / Director of short form content. Her short films played in festivals internationally, including Hollyshorts Film Festival, The Walker Art Center, CPH:PIX, Cinema City and Exit Film Festival. She is a recipient of the 2017 Jerome Foundation Grant, 2013 WIFT Grant, and 2013 Emerging Talent Award at the Minneapolis International Film Festival.
When not creating films she loves to work on music videos and enjoys editing. Her music videos have been sought out by labels including Warner and Universal and seen on MTV, VH1, Rollingstone and Nowness. Her latest music video for Polica "Agree" is a Vimeo Staff Pick.
She’s currently working on her short film Welcome to Disneyland, a fictional story about an immigrant family arriving to America.
