Jacob Mendel is a filmmaker and pioneer in the art of digital 3D filmmaking. He has refined a stereoscopic methodology using two HDSLR cameras with prime lenses in order to explore the possibilities of 3D independent digital cinema. Guided by a belief in depth as an artistic medium, Jacob has shot an array of creative 3D projects including documentaries, short narratives and music videos. He currently lives in Los Angeles, and works for 3net at Sony Pictures Studios.
