Blood And Glass
Blood And Glass is a collection of dark, enchanted songs written and sung by an eccentric front-woman. The music has been compared to Coco Rosie and Fever Ray, but the band has a truly unique sound, message, and stage presence.
Picture an emotion-ridden female with red-painted eyes singing soaring melodies over whimsical beats, lush swells, and Sylvia Plath-like lyrics. Tim Burton would dig this.
The songs were given the name ‘Blood And Glass’ to emphasize the marriage of warm, organic sounds with cold, manmade ones. ‘Blood’ represents the natural, heated instruments such as meaty drums, strings, voice… and ‘Glass’ represents the artificial sounds such as manipulated samples, crisp beats, and vocoders.
