Coast was built on the idea of creating a surreal experience without the use of any green screen or CGI effects. It explores the concept that every life is as valid as the next while touching on the romantic principle of man wanting to find his own path.

Robert is a filmmaker based out of Chicago. His first film class, “Intro to 16mm filmmaking”, was a disaster but he stuck with it. He went on to make his first music video (not the one shown here), which also was a disaster but he stuck with it. He now makes a living trying to find bands and/or producers willing to let him stick with it.
